Hi! I'm Auber Romero, a Mexican creative director based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Growing up in Mexico City, I tried everything creative I could get my hands on: painting, music, theater, even playing the King in Romeo and Juliet. The problem was that I wasn't particularly good at any of it.
Luckily, I discovered creative writing and found my place. Since then, I've created award-winning work for brands such as Netflix, Coca-Cola, Lay's, Doritos, Don Julio, Ballantine's, Telemundo, Samsung and many more across Mexico, Argentina, United States, and Europe.
I was named Copywriter of the Year by the Argentine Creative Circle in 2019, represented Mexico as a Young Creative at Cannes Lions, and have been fortunate to see my work recognized at festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, D&AD, bla, bla, bla...
Not bad for a creative failure.
